Microsoft has taken a page out of Sony’s book and has announced the new Xbox 360. Today we had the first glimps of the new black and shiny Xbox Slim. The innards will have a quieter running system, a 250 gig hard drive, and built in 802.11n wi-fi connectivity. The new systems will be shipping today and be available in stores by the end of the week with a price of $299.
With assistance from Cirque du Soleil, Microsoft staged a 76-man performance starting E3 off with a bang. An encore performance can be seen in a 30-minute, commercial-free special broadcast on MTV on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 3:30 pm ET, and on Nick at Nite, mtvU, MTV Hits, and Logo at 9 pm ET. The Kinect is expected to release in November 2010

The gaming device that Microsoft named Project Natal, has officially been given the name Kinect.
Kinect, as you already know, has a built-in microphone for audio detection and voice recognition. The camera has motion detection and object tracking and has the ability recognize 48 points of human body movements. Specifications of Kinect have yet to be announced or even released yet, but I’m sure that the device is amazing, very intuitive, and easy to use.
As your reading this your probably wondering why this kind of post is being made on a Sunday of all days. Well it’s because LVLONE is making its way to LA as we speak to give you everything you need to know first hand at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The biggest time for gaming once a year is none other then E3 and we’ll let you know what you can expect this time around. Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, will make his Rock Band debut June 15 with a six pack of songs in the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii.
Scream – Osbourne’s first album in almost three years and 10th studio album overall – is set for a June 15 release via Epic Records. Produced by Ozzy and Kevin Churko, both of whom did the same honors for Ozzy’s 2007 worldwide million-seller Black Rain, the new album is fueled by the red-hot first single “Let Me Hear You Scream.” Ozzy’s band consists of Ozzy’s new guitar player, Gus G., bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.

For the Yakuza fan boys/girls Sega has announced that they will be showing off Yakuza 4 at E3. So far they have announced that there will be three other playable characters besides the main attraction Kiryu Kasuma and the game is still exclusively for Playstation 3. Also they are aiming for a release date for early 2011.
Yakuza 4 picks up the story of Yakuza 3 one year later and takes the player back to Tokyo. The story starts when a man is shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan, the organisation that has featured in all games in the series to date. A small gang which belongs to Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death. These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honour. The truth becomes apparent as the lies, betrayals and entwined stories are revealed and when these 4 unflinching men get together, the new legend of Kamurocho is born. –Sega

That’s right ladies and gents, Mortal Kombat is back! Not only is MK set for an amazing live action movie (again… err… for the third time), but a new and amazing looking game. Ed Boon the creator and creative director is back for a new MK project. Teaming up with NeatherRealm Studios this time around MK is in for a little bit of a change. The trailer that they released show’s the original 1 vs. 1 match ups, along with 2 vs. 2 match up. So far they have announced that there will be a 4 player mode with 2 vs. 2 switch in and out of play mode, a 2 player co-op arcade mode, and last but not least a 2 vs. 2 online match mode. As of yet no new characters are announced but so far it does seem like there are new moves, combos, and fatalities set for release.
