Left 4 Dead 2 has become pretty infamous in the gaming world since it's announcement at E3, never before has a sequel to a game generated so much negative buzz for begin released "too early". Fans of L4D started a petition against purchasing the sequel, their argument begin that the original will be forgotten with no new content, and that most of the new features in the L4D2 could have been made available to part 1 through DLC. Well the petition which claimed to have several thousand signatures seems to have made little impact because Valve has just announced that the Left 4 Dead 2 has doubled the preorders that the original had. Keep in mind however that L4D was an original title and therefore didn't have any fanbase to build those preorders off from.
During the whole E3 week there were a lot of racing video games mentioned. This is some quick info for you to see what you are going to be driving for the upcoming seasons. These racing games wont be starting there engines till this fall, but they will be racing all through 2010. In part 1 of our racing coverage we take a look at the more extreme of racing games to be creating mayhem this holiday.
The new FIFA 10 website is now up and running. This new site features an opening menu, prompting you to select your country. The home page for the site itself has a countdown to the games release, which is August 19th, 2009.
While the full Beatles Rockband game which will include 45 master tracks doesn't come out until September 9th. We've got word from an unknown source that 3 more songs will make the list from the following ten already announced.
After Microsoft's E3 press conference, Xbox Live General Manager Marc Whitten held a meeting of his own. Mainly, what was discussed pertained towards improvements for the Xbox Live service. Two topics came to everyone attention. We will discuss it here.
