Defense of the Ancients or DotA is a game that has been played by many. Since the announcement of it's sequel many have wondered how will it look, and how will it play compared to the first game? Twisted Pixel has announced Gunstringer, the marionette, western gunslinger, that's controlled with the Kinect game will be hitting stores and not XBLA on September 13! The $40 game will hit store shelves in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia on September 13, and September 16 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Gunstringer will be bundled together with Fruit Ninja, another Kinect game valued at $10. That's two games for the price of one (in some way, shape, or form)! But wait there's more! Along with the two games, gamers will also get DLC entitled "The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles" in which you battle "the time-traveling son of Wavy Tube Man."
Pre-orders for the game from certain stores will get you two tokens for avatar props from the game!
Freddy Krueger is back, and this time in video game form. The fourth DLC for Mortal Kombat will include Mr. Nightmare on Elm street himself. For $4.99 or 400 MP's, or free for you season pass holders you can download Freddy next month on August 9th. All that's left to wonder is when Jason Voorhees will show up with his big ass machete and hockey mask.
To pay homage to Star Wars Microsoft will be bundling R2D2 with Kinect! Well not the actually R2D2 (wish it was the actual though), a Xbox 360 modeled after the little robot that could. The console will have R2's sounds and look, along with a white version of the Kinect, Star Wars Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and a 320 gig hard drive. Also what would R2 be without his side kick C3P0? The controller that comes with the bundle will be modeled after the worry wart of a robot, can you say bling bling? The bundle will be on sale in the fall but pre-orders should be expected to start today. Pre-orders for the bundle will be priced at $449, force powers and light saber not included.
