MW3 Map Pack Drops Today! (For Elite… On Xbox….)
For those who have invested money, blood, sweat, tears, and some other bodily fluids (ya nasties) into Modern Warfare 3, you’ll be happy to know that the first DLC of this year is live!
The team over at Ubisoft must be working extra hard to get Ghost Recon Future Soldier just perfect to do battle against Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.
A free iOS app is available for your Xbox-loving self to grab in the iTunes market. There may not be as much under the hood as the Windows 7-phone counterpart–clearly because Apple is not a product of Microsoft and they won’t try nearly as hard on a competition’s app–but it still is better than using one of those non-official apps. Can’t have a cat fight without Sony’s mascots Toro and Kuro now can ya? Kuro and Toro will be playable characters exclusively for the Playstation 3 and Vita version of the Street Fighter X Tekken. From the looks of it Toro seems to be taking some fighting tips from Ryu and the Capcom family, and Kuro taking tips from Jin and the Tekken family, both sporting similar costumes as their teachers. I can’t wait till Street Fighter X Tekken comes out so I can give someone a MEOWYUKEN!

Modern Warfare 3 has been out for over 48 hours and with no surprise there have been tons of hiccups. Even though Elite has had its paces set in place with a beta, connectivity and service of Elite has been intermittent, if at all. To make up for the problems and lack of service, Activision has decided to give members of the Elite service, and members who sign up an extra 30 days of active time for free. Might be something to look into if you’re interested, and if that’s not enough then look at what else comes with the Premium pack.
Walmart is ready for it’s gamers to hit it’s stores nation wide. Not only will they be stocking up on double XP Mountain Dew, double XP Doritos, and copies of Modern Warfare 3, they’ll be holding a MW3 tournament a day before it’s release! On November 7, 8pm local time, Walmart will let the loyal gamers of MW3 to play in a tournament up to the midnight release. Walmart will also be offering up some free goodies like MW3 patches, posters and T-shirts at the midnight release, so are you ready for WW3?
It’s been a huge work in progress but all the work has really paid off in Street Fighter X Tekken. I got a chance to play the game at New York Comic Con the past weekend and I was pretty stunned at how well the game played…
First and foremost I wanna say sorry we haven’t kept you updated about the events and where we’ve been. This weekend is New York Comic Con, and Remdog and I have been on the prowl around at the Jacob Javits Center covering the main event and there’s SOOOO much to cover!
One of the most anticipated Call of Duty killer games has finally hit open beta. Battlefield 3 today hits Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC today. If you haven’t already downloaded it I would do so now. Playstation 3 owners will have to wait a little longer until after the update comes out this today.
