Nintendo has officially announced a new Kirby game for the Wii. Kirby's Epic Yarn is maybe one of the most visually unique games at E3, the theme of the game is centered around yarn and threading, even Kirby himself is made up of cloth.
Mario has had a big presence on the Wii more so than possibly any other Nintendo console, with Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. Wii Nintendo has shown that they want the plumber to make his presence known not only to Nintendo fans but to the video game industry.

The brand NEW video game releases for this week are lead by some familiar titles from the 80's. Personally, I love nostalgia. I believe that some of these titles will remind you of those good old times. More companies should go through their back catalog and do new remakes. Do not call this a comeback, they have been here for years.
By now, anyone who has heard of the Madden Football franchise has heard of the inevitable "curse" that seems to follow which ever player is selected as the cover athlete. The first promo video of Red Steel 2 has shown up on youtube to the surprise of many gamers. Although it was known that Red Steel 2 was in the works for some time now, little was known about the title, until now. The video shows off both gun and sword gameplay, using the Wii-motionplus and though it's difficult to tell from the video the game will most likely be smoother and play better then the first title. Video games are much like books and movies—the very beginning has a big impact on the audience. The opening scene sets the feel and pacing of the quest, and is that split second after the intro movie (if there is one) is done when players are first given control of their character. They have that one moment to locate themselves on screen and take in their surroundings. They take a breath, and then take their first step on the adventure ahead of them.
