While at PAX East we got a chance to visit the Corsair booth and got a chance to play around with a bunch of new keyboards, mice, and headsets. Corsair had a buffet lined up for us to take a look at everything. Starting at one of the main computer kiosks with a full set up with tricked out Crystal Series 460X RGB Mid-tower case with full RGB innards, such as their Vengeance RGB DDR4 ram sticks, RM850X power supply, liquid cooled, ML series fans with the built in RGB lights, and to top it off an amazing crest from what it looked like sandblasted onto the glass of the 400C case. Topping off accessories wise they had a MM800 RGB POLARIS mouse pad, K65 keyboard, Void wireless gaming headset, and a Scimitar Pro RGB mouse to match the black and yellow color scheme which is completely controlled with their Corsair Utility Engine.
Next down the line was Corsair’s Void series headsets, mice and mouse pads. The Void series consists of 3.55mm jack headsets all the way to USB and even the wireless variety that has a range of about 40 feet. All the Void headsets come with a 50mm sound drivers, Dolby 7.1 surround, collapsible microphone, and comfortable ear pads for those long gaming runs. The headphones were super comfortable, and with the large sound drivers pushing tons of bumping bass, gun shots and explosions sounded awesome. For their mice lineup M65 PRO RGB, Scimitar RGB, and Sabre RGB, along with their MM800 RGB Polaris, MM600, and MM300 mouse pads to boot.
Last up was their keyboards. K70 RGB, K65 RGB, and K95 RGB, Strafe running with Cherry MX silent switches or Cherry MX RGB Speed switches, difference of course being RGB or the regular editions with non RGB lighting. The Cherry MX Speed switches have super low activation time of 1.2mm vs. the normal 2mm. They had multiple versions of they keyboards, whether it be in different RGB patterns, different style finishes, or just dynamic lighting, Corsair definitely had a keyboard for every type of PC gamer. They even had WASD key covers for you extensive gamers who wear down your WASD keys. I look forward to hopefully getting my hands on some of this hardware to give you guys a further in depth view of what Corsair is bringing to the table.
