Twisted Metal Back on Playstation!

David Jaffe announced that Twisted Metal is making a comeback with new game modes and vehicles. It’s been a few years since we’ve had a true sequel to Twisted Metal. The events leading up to E3 Jaffe was constantly hounded to see if there was a new Twisted Metal in development, but Jaffe kept on denying that he was. At the end of the Sony E3 conference Jaffe and Scott Cambell of Eat Sleep Play dropped the big news with a game demo of the new Twisted Metal.

To keep the gameplay up to date the game seems to have different factions currently there were two shown but more will be announced. During the demo the Sweet Tooth faction and Dolls faction went at it in a gameplay mode called Nuke. Nuke is a capture the flag type game where instead of capturing a flag you capture the leader of the opposite faction. After holding the other leader withing the specific area, you sacrifice their leader to the missile launcher. The sacrifice will launch a missile in which you must destroy a large statue of the other team’s leader flying above the battlefield.
