We all know one day that Skynet will soon become self aware and take over the world. Then we’ll all have to find John Conner to save us and start the resistance, but for the time being it’s gonna be fun to see what robots will do to become self aware. If you not aware of Rory McIlroy, he’s a pretty famous pro golfer who’s beaten pretty much everyone in the latest European golf tour, but let’s how well he can do against a robot.

Updated 4.46 should fix your bricked Playstation 3
If you were one of the unfortunate people to have your Playstation 3 bricked upon updating it to Sony’s 4.46 firmware update last week, Sony has released another update that should be able to fix your console.
Many people have been trapped in the initial loading screen for the past week hoping Sony releases an update to get them back to normal – and they have. If your system is fine, then you can go ahead and download the update. However, if your system had bricked, then you will need a USB flash drive in order to fix your system. Sony has released instructions to guide you through the process. Just be sure your flash drive has at lease 168 mb free.
Anime Attack: Steins;Gate
If your into following the progress CERN is making with the LHC (Large hadron collider) then Steins;gate is the anime for you. Adaptation of a visual novel game by 5bp and nitroplus, it deals with quantum theory and time travel. I’ll be frank that this is not a new anime and is actually 2 years old at this point but bare with me. The story follows the “mad” scientist named Rintarō Okabe who, along with his friends manage to invent a microwave that can send text messages into the past. This allows him to travel between alternate worlds and also deals with agents of “SERN.” Be sure to check this out and while not new still ranks up there with the best in my opinion. Also good to hear from you guys on anime that similar in category as this so fire away those comments.

Final Fantasy XV character detail and new artwork revealed
New info has been given by Square Enix for Final Fantasy XV this morning which dives into the characters past and stories. Along with this is the reveal of some of Final Fantasy’s all-star team working on this game. First Production Department developing FINAL FANTASY XV include Shinji Hashimoto (producer), Tetsuya Nomura (director and character designer), Hajime Tabata (co-director) and Takeshi Nozue (lead art director). Below you’ll find the character cast’s synopsis and new artwork for Final Fantasy XV.
• Noctis Lucis Caelum: A childhood affliction endowed Noctis, heir apparent to the throne of Lucis, with the mystical power to see a heavenly light, through which he could sense others’ deaths. Noctis rejects rigid royal conventions and acts as somewhat of a renegade, much to the dismay of those who tend to him. Yet while “Noct” may act brash at times, he does so in defense of those loyal to him.
• Gladiolus Amicitia: As lord of the noble House Amicitia, Gladiolus continues a line sworn to protect the crown. “Gladio” shares a friendship with Noctis that transcends birth and title, and his loyalty to his liege is born not of duty, but of brotherhood.
• Ignis Scientia: Ever the unwavering voice of reason, Ignis was weaned on shrewd logic and a classical education from boyhood so that he might one day counsel the would-be king, Noctis. He applies the deep mutual understanding and trust they have built over time to help smooth over Noctis’s brusqueness with others.
• Prompto Argentum: The puckish playboy Prompto befriended Noctis in his school days. He wears a chip on his shoulder as an outsider to the royal circle, but remains eager to do all he can for the cause.
• Cor Leonis: A living legend of Lucian lore, Lord Commander Cor Leonis’s devotion to the art of war is surpassed only by that to his king. Little love is lost between the ill-starred stalwart and Noctis’s retinue, yet honor binds him to keep watch over the group all the same.
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Review, bringing back two classics
If you expected the new Capcom Xbox Live Arcade release, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, to be a brand new entry into the ever-loved Dungeons & Dragons games, then you’ll be highly disappointed.
If you did, however, expect another great re-release of a classic, then you’ll be much happier. Returning in all of its pixelated glory – and with an HD overlay and other improvements – is Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara which packages two great games – Shadow Over Mystara (1996) and Tower of Doom (1993) – into one XBLA download. For those who are reluctant to play this game because it dons the “Dungeons & Dragons” name, you probably should play the game before judging it.

This button-mashing classing brings back the carpal tunnel feeling that some users remember as a younger version of themselves playing the games. In Tower of Doom, gamers can choose between fighting as a dwarf, fighter, elf or cleric – each offering a varied style of play. This game does, however, lack the thief and magic characters who are found in Shadow Over Mystara.
Don’t think for a second this button-masher is simply that. To get through the game, you’ll be required to pay attention and also use strategy. Yes, selecting the cleric and rampaging through the game is an option, but to get the most enjoyable experience, gamers should take the time and learn all of the different combos that come with the games.
Particular joystick movements and button combinations have different results, all of which are helpful for completing the game. Anyone who has played Final Fight or Streets of Rage will find the game relatable and enjoyable. Those who are used to getting combos down in titles such as Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter will find the combo-creation aspect of the game to be enjoyable. Mastering the combos isn’t an easy task.
Where the game lacks, but not by a large margin is an issue that probably only occurred to me. The problem I encountered with the game was the lack of the ability for me to press two buttons at the same time to complete a combo. It might have been me mashing away and not carefully trying to execute the combos. The only time I really noticed it was when I walked in one direction and tried to punch, my character would have to stop in order to punch. It doesn’t take away from the gameplay, but just a minor tidbit I noticed.

The games come complete with bosses and shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours to play through. The replay value in them come with the use of other characters to beat the game and also ramp up the difficulty. The games support the Xbox’s achievement system so earning those will always add to the replay value.
Hitting the marketplace at a $14.99, the bundle for the two games won’t disappoint. Though some may find the price tag to be a bit high, it will be well worth it for both core and hardcore fans of the series – or those who are looking to pick up a new challenge.
