Rockstar has dropped a new Grand Theft Auto trailer and while always to be enlightened for gameplay trailer for this game, it’s actually like nothing they’ve done before. This trailer dives deep in many of the things that will be available when playing GTA V, along with explaining how the dynamic works with each character, separate and together. Don’t know about everyone else but we can’t wait till this game is released and we waist countless hours of our lives to it!

Final Fantasy XIII’s Goods – Lightning through the Games
With each new chapter of the Final Fantasy 13 saga, we have seen the characters go through a lot of changes. So have the designs of the characters’ figures. Let’s take a look at Final Fantasy’s Lightning, shall we?
When the first Final Fantasy 13 game came out, we saw a nicely modeled figure set for Lightning and the rest of the cast. Details were there but not extensively and the colors were bright. They almost reminded me of anime figures from back in the day. These figures appeared more like statues or poseable dolls and just very blocky. Even with some of the characters showing more skin, the areas where the joints moved were very noticeable and just took away from the overall look.
For Final Fantasy 13-2, we saw a new look to our heroine. This time she donned her Valhalla armor. Though smaller than the previous figures, the designers definitely put in a ton of work on this one. It was a beautiful piece to look at and to put in all sorts of ready to fight poses. Her features became softer and her face became more defined. Where there was supposed to be cloth, you could see the texture. You could also see nice details in the feathers. The joints were less noticeable, which was very much appreciated. It’s something you’re going to see often, so why not make it appealing?
And now, we have a much darker and even more detailed figure for the final chapter in the 13 series, Lightning Returns. You get this feeling of be careful what you do, because her face has a genuine look of ready to kick ass. The fabric pieces are sculpted in a way to show movement so no matter what pose she has, it doesn’t appear stiff. Her armor actually resembles armor, more so than her 13-2 version. And my favorite part, is that the joints are not so visible anymore. But like all Square-Enix figures, each comes with different sets of hands for different poses and weapon and shield.

Relive Your Favorite Tales! Tales of Symphonia HD Release
One of the biggest fan favorites of the Tales series from Namco Bandai is getting a nice HD remastered version set for the PS3! Many Tales fans owe thanks to Tales of Symphonia for being the game that introduced us to the awesome Tales of games series, 10 years ago! In Japan it’s called Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack. And for now, we’ve only seen the Japanese box set which is being released later this year. It will include both HD remastered versions of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World. It will also have 5 little figurines of the main characters, a little novel, a greeting card with a message from the artists, a PS3 theme as well as a beautifully decorated box to hold it all. There will also be new in-game content as well. For those of us outside of Japan, the pack might be called Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles and will be released early next year. Here’s hoping we get that nice box set!
Also announced today, Tales of Symphonia will have dual audio! That means we’ll be able to hear the voice tracks in both Japanese and English for the first time ever in a Tales game! Stay with us as we get more updates on this awesome re-release!
Prince of Persia to see mobile release
Today Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia will be coming back to mobile devices with Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame. The game will be coming to iOS, Android devices and Amazon on July 25th for $2.99. The game is set after the classic game and continues the saga. The game also sports brand new visuals and redesigned controls. Gesture controls are many of the games functions and tt takes advantage of several social features as well. Look out for this game when it drops this month.
NBA 2k14 adding top European League teams
Those hoping for even more basketball action in the upcoming 2k game will be pleased to find out that 14 European League teams are going to be added to the current lineup of teams in NBA 2k14.
Teams from the Turkish Airlines Euroleague will be added following a recent European League and 2k Sports partnership. The 14 teams being added are:

Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns gets Final Fantasy VII DLC
Square Enix has announced today that they will be making Final Fantasy VII DLC in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for those who pre-order the game. The DLC will be in the form of Cloud Strife’s “SOLDIER 1st Class” uniform from FINAL FANTASY VII and will be an outfit to use in the game. The outfit DLC will also include Cloud Strife’s legendary weapon, the Buster Sword, Soldier’s Band, the victory fanfare and finishing animation from FINAL FANTASY VII. They also hint at possible special abilities that might come with the outfit and sword but would be announced at a later time. We have trailer showcasing the outfit and screens so take a gander. Pre-order now to fill those nostalgic moments you’ve been longing for because if we can’t get a remake to Final Fantasy VII, this will have to do for now.
President of Xbox, Don Mattrick, leaves and joins Zynga
It’s a story that has been developing throughout the day and has now been confirmed. Don Mattrick, the now former president of Microsoft’s interactive entertainment business, is joining Zynga as the new CEO – replacing Mark Pincus who remains with Zynga as the chairman of the board and chief product officer.
Mattrick isn’t new to the gaming industry as he co-founded Distinctive Software, Inc. with Jeff Sember in 1982. The company would eventually be bought by Electronic Arts in 1991 which is when Mattrick began to hold different positions throughout the company before retiring in 2006. In 2007 he joined Microsoft as a senior vice president – overseeing the Xbox 360 and PC divisions.
Kotaku reports that there aren’t immediate replacements yet, but it’s possible that Steve Ballmer is the new Xbox boss due to a memo sent to Microsoft employees, notifying them that they are to report to Ballmer, at least for now. Kotaku posted the email sent to the employees:

Zynga announced today that Don Mattrick would be its new CEO, effective July 8. This is a great opportunity for Don, and I wish him success. Don’s directs will report to me and will continue to drive the day-to-day business as a team, particularly focused on shipping Xbox One this holiday.
Since joining IEB more than six years ago, Don and his team have accomplished much. Xbox Live members grew from 6 million to 48 million. Xbox 360 became the No. 1 selling console in North America the past two years. We introduced Kinect and have sold more than 24 million sensors. We released fantastic games, and, most importantly, we expanded Xbox to go beyond great gaming to deliver all the entertainment people want — sports, music, movies, live television and much more.
In the past month, the IEB team showed for the first time here on our Redmond campus, and again at E3, how we are going to continue to transform entertainment with Xbox One. I am incredibly proud of the work and vision culminating in Xbox One.
I’m particularly excited about how Xbox pushes forward our devices and services transformation by bringing together the best of Microsoft. The consoles are incredible all-in-one devices with built-in services that consumers love, including Bing, Xbox Live, Internet Explorer, SkyDrive and Skype. CE Week: Damson Twist quick look
Continuing last weeks coverage of CE Week we got a taste of a very interesting product named Twist. This comes from Damson audio and it’s a portable bluetooth speaker that when placed on a surface, pretty much makes the surface sound like a speaker. This is made from their Incisor diffusion technology, which pushes the sound across almost any surface it is rested upon. The sound seemed to be good and actually was slightly different across different surfaces. When picked up it barely makes a sound but if no suitable surface can be used it does come with a tube that will allow you to place it on. We were pretty impressed with what we saw first hand. We’ll give you our full review rundown of all things Damson soon. Stay tuned to all our coverage coming out of CEWeek NY.
Injustice gets new Blackest Night character dlc
Looks like we’re getting a new pair of DLC skins for Injustice. General Zod will be the next character along with a skin to accompany him but separate packs still seem to be coming. One being a Blackest Night skin pack. The first release was a single batman skin that was available for pre-order before the games release. While we haven’t had an official statement some images have been surfacing revealing the three characters on the list and it looks like it’ll be Hawkgirl, Aquaman and Superman.
