 Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption created by Rockstar San Diego, is a huge, open world sandbox environment letting the player move freely. Players on foot can run, ride, interact with the environment, and combat enemies with weapons. Breeds of horses come in a different variety and are the main form of transportation. The game allows players to choose how they want to play. Storyline missions are for progressing through the game, and players can take part in side events as they explore the West. Their is a morality system in place for the way a player would progress within the game. The multiplayer is petty expansive with team based and free for all game types as well.

Split/Second

Split/Second is an action racing game developed by Black Rock Studio. In the game, racers take part in a fictional reality TV show where events are marked as episodes. There are a variety of events, each mainly focuses on destructible environments and random collisions triggered remotely by driver actions known as powerplays. Eight player multiplayer can be played with most of the modes as well.

Alan Wake

Alan Wakeis a survival thriller game developed by Remedy Entertainment. The story will play out in an episodic format, like a soap opera. Light plays an important role in gameplay and strategy. The enemies in the game are called “The Taken”. They are sensitive to light, encouraging the player to take advantage of environmental light sources and the importance of the flashlight as a main weapon. There is much to explore within this game as you unfold what is really taking place on this island.

Movie games such as Shrek Forever After  and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands are releasing on multiple platforms.
