This was a great year for the video game industry and our staff here at LVLONE have had some of our greatest gaming moments in 2010. Continuing our list of the top games of 2010, here is the final part to first annual Best of 2010 Games Awards.
Mickey Mouse used to be a very big mascot in video games but he hasn't seen much action in the past few years. But Disney looks to make a brand new adventure for the Mouse with Epic Mickey. Not only is Mickey back in the spotlight but now he's in a darker toned adventure that will appeal to both kids and adults who remember the famous mouse from their childhood.
If you held out or missed out that Black Friday gaming deals well then you might want to bite the bullet on this one. Amazon is having deals for the PS3 and Wii consoles. When customers purchase a 160gb PS3 they will get $75 store credit or $50 for the Wii. Sonic has been on a slow road to recovery in past year, when plans we're made to bring Sonic back to his 2D roots fans hoped for the best. However Sonic Colors might just be taking a bigger step in the right direction than Sonic 4 episode 1.
A few years ago the Metroid series finished a three part adventure in the Metroid Prime trilogy, the game focused heavily on bringing classic Metroid gameplay to a 3D enviornment and brought Samus back into the mainstream. Now a different developer, Team Ninja looks to expand Samus's story and give players a new experience that brings old school Metroid gameplay together with her latest 3D adventure.
