TCL 8K Roku QLED TV

0

The new 8-Series TCL tv has boasted some pretty interesting technology this year at CES. Introducing their new Vidrian Mini-LED technology, which consists of infusing tens of thousands of mico-LED’s into a glass sheet to give the best contrast and clarity. The technology will allow 25,000 lighting zones on their 75-inch display. Vidrian Mini-LED technology will give the glass display less layers, meaning it will keep the TV relatively thin and much less unwanted dimming filters. TCL hopes to give their customers a better display, and especially to their gamers with their new THX Game mode. Turning on the new THX Game mode will give super fast response times with the best picture quality so there won’t be any quality taken away from your Call of Duty matches. Expect great things to come in 2020 and beyond from TCL.

0

It seemed like Motorola came out of no where with what looked to be the icon RAZR but once you open the fold the similarity ends as it’s sporting a gorgeous flexible 6.2” display that folds completely in half. When the phone is closed you have a touch-enabled “Quick View” display that lets you interact with notifications without having to open the phone. With cool features it’ll be taking advantage of as with updates and a 16-megapixel camera with Night Vision and all-day battery life with TurboPower charging. We have to admit the phone felt smooth in hand, responsive and was definite eye catcher!

Verizon will be the first carrier to have the phone available as you can preorder yours starting 12:01am ET on January 26 or pick one up in stores and online when it launches on February 6. The Motorola razr is $62.49 a month for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment (0% APR; $1,499.99 retail). CES: Lenovo Foldable Officially ThinkPad X1 Fold

0

While one would think foldable was all the rage at this years CES that’s only partially true. Lenovo while having a foldable device has had this thing in development for a few years now and unveiled the unit last year. They dropped the official name at CES where we got real hands on with it.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold had a gorgeous 13.3 inch display when fully opened and has a portrait or landscape mode depending on preference. You will see support from Windows 10X which will allow a duel screen view among other things. The ThinkPad X1 Fold will have a easy to carry bluetooth mini keyboard that will fold and be secure by magnets in the unit itself and the unit solo weighs less then 2.5 pounds. We also know starting price will be $2,5000 but exact pricing and options will be available in the second half of 2020 as it will launch this year as well.

It was a solid computer overall which we think could withstand alot but as most foldable devices longevity is what needs to shine and hopefully Lenovo will have as much worked out as possible when it’s set to go to market! Check back in with us for more on full specs launch and more!

CES: MaxPro Full Fitness Workout to Take With You

Among the many things in CES we caught a gem which is the MaxPro and is a full-body portable fitness machine and even uses your phone via a coaching app. The resistance portion is interesting since most to all machines use actual weights but this uses rotor system to adjust from 5lbs to 300lbs (2kg to 135kg) by turning the dials on the machine. It also has a great carrying case for all the pieces. This one is one to look out for as they have been accepting pre-orders with release to come very soon! CES: TCL’s Alcatel 5G and Foldable phones coming sooner then you think

0

TCL had a decent amount of announcements during CES 2020 last week. While you may assume they are mostly about TV’s and .. well they are but on the other end they’ve been making some headlines with their phones. The Alcatel phone group showed off their 10 series of phones with the 10 Pro being the flagship and 10 5G to be the one that people will focus on. They haven’t laid out the official specs as those will be coming soon but we do know that all the devices appear to have a 6.5-inch screen, they will all probably be 1080p displays and that their will be 3 phones in the line. The cameras also ranges from 48mp to 64mp and they will come at pretty competitive pricing for mid range phones, especially the 5G version which could very well be sub $500.

Their Foldable phone has seen improvement from last year but still has a ways to go as it is only a prototype but it is well designed with a nice emerald cover when closed. This might also be the first foldable under $1000 but we’ll have to stay tuned for all the details as it’s slated for later this year. Stay tuned for more info on this from us soon!
