PAX East 2020: Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3 is one of the games that has been on a lot of people’s radar. We were lucky enough to play a demo of it at PAX East and experience the cold tundra of not just Boston but also Colorado. Jumping into the game we’re dumped into an armored assault vehicle traversing the Colorado wilderness moving into an outpost to save some unfortunate team that was captured. Throughout the ride you hear the banter of a Desert Rangers as they reach the outpost ready for combat. It’s impressive that all of the NPC enemies and characters have full voice overs and even more impressive that the game had so much depth in combat, inventory, and even environmental interaction. Although we only played a portion of the demo, Wasteland 3 left me wanting to play more. Wanting to learn more about the stories and possibilities laid out in the game while traversing the new frozen wasteland.  If you’ve played the previous Wasteland games this game is definitely not one to be missed and better yet play it co-op with a friend so you can both experience it. Expect Wasteland 3 to land release May 19th on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux as well!
