PAX East 2020: Gone Viral but not actually Gone Viral

One of the games I got to enjoy was Gone Viral by Akupara Games in the Indie Mega Booth. How to really explain Gone Viral? It’s like a mash up of Smash TV meets Binding of Isaac. You battle through a multi level dungeon that’s broadcasted to an audience that judges how well you destroy your enemies inside the game. Appease the audience and they air drop you items to aid you in your quest of total domination. Gone Viral also has Twitch integration, where viewers can vote on the rewards you do or don’t get. Along with being able to see some of the chat within the game, streamers will be able to see themselves on some of their screens that are mounted inside the game to give it a little more IRL integration with the game. Currently the game is in closed beta, to sign up for the closed beta head over to their website.
