Left 4 Dead 2 was shown off at Microsoft's Press Conference, the video was only a trailer but the game is available to play at the show floor. The game this time takes place in the American south, Louisiana to be exact. The game's new feature will be melee weapons, an aspect that wasn't in the original. Where the original title had you just hit the undead with your gun, the squeal will allow players to wield chainsaws, bats, frying pans and a many other weapons. Interestingly enough the game also takes place during the daytime, the original took place completely at night. Value has mentioned the game will have a "deeper" level of cooperative gameplay, stay tuned as we learn more.

While the desicion is yours to buy the package of your choice, it also depends on if you have purchased the previous 3 dowloadable content map packs.
The brand NEW video game releases for this week are lead by some familiar titles from the 80's. Personally, I love nostalgia. I believe that some of these titles will remind you of those good old times. More companies should go through their back catalog and do new remakes. Do not call this a comeback, they have been here for years.
Sega has just announced that they will be releasing several classic Genesis games on XBLA. Among the announced games are many fan favorites such as Shinobi, Comix Zone, Altered Beast, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Phantasy Star II, and Sonic & Knuckles. Sega announced that all the games will have re-worked graphics, and online leaderboards. Each game will be released separably, however there's no word on when each game will be released. Interestingly enough Sonic & Knuckles will have the "lock-on" feature which allowed gamers to play as Knuckles in Sonic 2 & 3, making it available for the first time to everyone since the original, no word on how this will actually work however.
