CES: John Deere AI Sprayer

One company you never really expect to show up is John Deere. You might be wondering why a company like John Deere which is known for their farming and agricultural machines would be at CES, but believe it or not they’ve brought the latest in technology for future farmers. This year, John Deere brought their R4038 AI Sprayer. What’s could have been added to a piece of farming equipment and how could it benefit farmers? Sensors and GPS for guidance to keep damage to plants to a minimum so there is less user error. AI controlled sprayers to keep waste to a minimum for farmers, which in turn could make produce cost less since they aren’t spending more money on fertilizer treatments for plants. John Deere hopes to make farming a bit easier for the new and old generation of farmers by bringing the latest and greatest tech into their equipment to get a better yield in their crops.
