Mario and Luigi Costumes in Rayman Legends + trailer

Today, Ubisoft announced that Nintendo’s popular video game heroes Mario™ and Luigi™ will make their debut appearance in Rayman Legends, the highly anticipated platformer developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. Exclusively available in the version for Nintendo’s Wii U™ system, players will be able to unlock skins for Rayman as Mario and Globox as Luigi after 20 minutes of gameplay.

Rayman Legends will be released in North America on September 3rd, 2013, for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and Windows PC.

Injustice’s Zatanna DLC character reveal trailer

Warner Bros. today released an all-new trailer revealing Zatanna as the next DLC character that will be available for the DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Zatanna, the powerful magician known for casting spells by speaking backwards, will be available beginning Aug. 13 on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for 400 MS Microsoft Points and PlayStation®Network at a price of $4.99.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Threat Trailer

Ubisoft has released a new Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist trailer. This latest video offers a glimpse of the Engineers, a faceless and powerful enemy whose goal is to take down the United States. What looks to be one of the finest Splinter Cell’s yet the game is arriving in less then a month. Check out the trailer above for some of the action you can expect.

Ubisoft has released a new Watch Dogs trailer highlighting some of the ways of transportation you will be able to do. Along with a few note worthy awards thus far. Looking to be one of the most promising games for current and next gen this year we honestly can’t wait for this one.

Microsoft to allow current-gen headsets to be compatible with Xbox One

Today we’ve learned that Xbox 360 owners that have current-gen and third party headsets will now be able to use it with their Xbox One’s. They will be able to do so with an adapter designed by Microsoft. Lead planner for Xbox One Alberto Penello confirmed this on twitter, as mentioned on Polygon.com. Not much is known about the adapter and things are still up in the air like pricing but this bit of news is great for those that have invested in headsets that are used for their everyday gaming. especially those in th日本藤素
e $150 price range and up. We should note that the official statement has not been made and with their trend of reversal who knows if this could be one but we’ll be giving more info as it comes in.

Rockstar has sent over 11 new screenshots of their highly anticipated title Grand Theft Auto V. While the game is looking better then ever, the latest trailer had showcased how much was changed since GTA IV. Rayman Legends coming to PC alongside other platform launches

Today, Ubisoft announced that its forthcoming title Rayman Legends, already announced for the Nintendo Wii U, Microsoft Xbox 360 Sony PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation VITA, will now be available on PC. All versions will hit shelves in North America on September 3rd, 2013.

As an added bonus, players who pre-order the digital version of Rayman Legends on PC from the UbiShop will get the original full version of Rayman Origins on PC for free!

Xbox One will allow self-publishing?

In a move what can only be seen as trying to evening the playing field as much as possible from outcry and competitors it looks to be that Microsoft will allow self-publishing on the Xbox One. Coming from Game Informer, they have multiple sources claiming action on this. This has already been the case for other platforms and newly announced model that the PS4 will go with so while they have said in the past they would not allow this it would only make sense to overturn it.

The news before this had allowed game developers to update their game with patches without fees and would not block used game sales. So what do all these reversal mean for Xbox One and you, does it change your opinion on the system?

Saints Row IV has gone gold

Publisher Deep Silver announced today that the upcoming, over-the-top Saints Row IV has gone gold and people will now be able to pre-order a season pass for the planned DLC and directors cut of “Enter the Dominatrix” for $9.99 at select retailers. The Season Pass for the much-awaited Saints Row IV from developer Volition will include two brand-new mission packs and the Season Pass-exclusive “Rectifier” anal probe weapon, which will help you, the President of the United States, get the ‘inside’ information from your enemies as you save Earth from a dangerous alien infestation.

Season Passes will be available for purchase on all platforms and include upcoming add-on content worth more than $15. Saints Row IV launches on current-gen consoles and PC on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in the rest of the world.
