TCL invited me to embark on a journey into the immersive world of augmented reality with their very own AR Glasses the RayNeo Air 2 at CES this year. We explored how these AR glasses look to redefine your visual experiences.

TCL has crafted the RayNeo Air 2 with cutting-edge technology. The device features transparent waveguide optics, seamlessly blending virtual and real-world environments. Its arsenal of sensors, including cameras, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and depth sensors, ensures precise tracking for an unparalleled immersive experience. The embedded powerhouse of processing capabilities enables real-time data processing and stunning content rendering.

From what we seen it looks to be running the following specs.

When it comes to gaming compatibility which is what I tested while at CES, TCL’s RayNeo Air 2 looked to give us a pretty smooth experience for an exceptional gaming adventure. I was able to play Zelda on the Nintendo Switch. TCL also developed the “Joy Dock ” which is a separate device you can attach to your gaming hardware. This accessory device can upgrade from basic 720p to 1080p. I give a lot of credit, when I played, gameplay felt like there was no latency at all!

We got to check it out first hand is different than other AR/VR experiences as it obviously has specific focuses made for surgeons but also had a higher resolution since it also needs to make sure the operator can view exactly when they need too. Kopin also has a lot of promising ideas in this space moving forward in the future which we can see coming into fruition.

Samsung’s Freestyle Gen 2 projector takes an innovative step in home entertainment by upgrading its capabilities. Unveiled at CES, Samsung showcased how combining multiple Freestyle Gen 2 projectors can transform the viewing experience. While individually kid-friendly, the real magic happens when these projectors join forces.

Witnessing the projectors in action revealed exciting possibilities. When two projectors unite, they display a wider aspect ratio, while four projectors can create a massive screen exceeding 250″. Moreover, utilizing two projectors to overlap enhances brightness twofold. The adaptability of these projectors allows them to project images in unconventional areas of a household or apartment as well.

Samsung’s experimentation with the Freestyle Gen 2 projector hints at even more features. The potential to adapt to user needs and create an immersive viewing experience suggests a promising future for the Freestyle 2.
