Now that E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) has ended last week and our team has recuperated from the event we want to get you! involved. Yes we attended E3 and saw some really cool shit but thats only the tip of the ice berg. Be apart video game site that's growing and plans to do big things in the future. It was one year exactly where Onlive were just getting there foot in the door and showing the world what cloud gaming looked like. With a micro-console, TV and blu-ray player deals they have pretty much blown the door right up for the service. One of there next entries was there Onlive app running on tablet devices unveiled at there booth at E3. LVLONE got a chance to sit down with them and get some hands on to find out what it was all about.
It might have gotten lost in all the talk about Nintendo's new system but Wii owners will be happy to know that the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword isn't the only Nintendo game left to look forward to on the Wii. Nintendo announced at E3 that Kirby would be making a return to Wii and this time in a more classic way. As opposed to last year's Epic Yarn game, Kirby Wii brings back the classic look and gameplay to the Wii. It might not be the most exciting news coming out of Nintendo's announcements but fans of Kirby will definitely like that Kirby is getting one more game on the Wii.
Nintendo revealed during their press conference that Luigi's Mansion 2 is coming to the 3DS. Nintendo promises new gameplay elements with the sequel. Not much details we're shown, and no release date has been given.
Wii U is the new Nintendo console, the controller has a tablet interface that comes with a lot potential for games. At E3 Nintendo had several playable tech demos that were shown off to show what the new controller can do. Nintendo reminded everyone that the tech demos are just to show how the Wii U's controller can work and did not say that these were games. Overall even though the tech is at an early stage the demos showed enough of what the controller can do.
E3 is almost upon us and we're getting ready for some really big announcements. In part two of our pre E3 2011 coverage we talk about Microsoft and Sony along with some other big name games coming our way. Who will take at this years show?
