For more than 25 years, Brandon “Dr. B” Chaney has been a constant presence in the Fighting Game Community. From the arcade era to today’s biggest stages, he’s competed at the highest level while never losing sight of what truly matters: the people. A mentor, musician, DJ, leader, and lifelong competitor, Dr. B has dedicated himself to preserving the legacy of retro fighting games while welcoming the next generation into the community.
He believes the FGC is strongest when it brings together players from every background, culture, and generation. Whether he’s sharing knowledge with new competitors, representing the old-school scene, or simply making someone feel like family at an event, his impact reaches far beyond the bracket.
