EVO is already one of the biggest weekends of the year for fighting game fans, competitors, creators and everyone who lives and breathes the FGC. This year, LVLONE is adding something special to the mix with our first-ever FGC LVLONE Awards.
We wanted to create something that celebrates more than just what happens on the main stage. Yes, the matches, reveals and tournaments are a huge part of what makes EVO special, but the community around it is just as important. From the developers and game makers building the titles we love, to the artists, cosplayers, creators, brands and everyday players showing up with passion, creativity and style, the FGC is built by a lot of talented people.
That is exactly what we want to recognize.
The FGC LVLONE Awards are about shining a light on the talent, hard work and community energy that make events like EVO feel different from anything else in gaming. We will be recognizing a range of standouts across the show, including awards like Best in Show, Best Artist and Community Recognition.
We are also going to be scouting the venue throughout the weekend for some fun community-driven awards. That means if you show up with an incredible custom arcade stick, a standout cosplay, or something that just catches our eye, you might end up on our radar.
The FGC has always had a special kind of creativity around it. People do not just play the games. They build around them, mod around them, dress up for them, create art for them and bring their own personality into every corner of the scene. That is what makes this community worth celebrating.
