Google Photos launching new 2019 features!

Google Photos has been becoming a more popular photos app in recent years and I myself primarily use it for most of its timeline features. Well Google is giving us some new features with Google Photos today! We got to check out some of these new features today and below is some of what we saw.

Memories: A digital version of a walk down memory lane of your private photos – rolling out today on Android and iOS.

Canvas prints: Now, you can decorate your home with your favorite memories with canvas prints from Google Photos —you can order canvas prints from Google Photos in the U.S., and they’ll be delivered straight to your home. Canvas prints start at $19.99 and come in three different sizes, 8×8, 11×14, and 16×20.

Photo prints: Starting today, you can order 4×6 photo prints directly from Google Photos and pick them up same day at CVS Pharmacy via Kodak Moments or Walmart, at over 11,000 locations with print centers across the U.S.

You can also checked out their new Search feature in the photos app which is mostly text based and will find key words for items or sets of pics you’re looking for so you can look at. Overall they are offering people with more options to share memories so look out for these features now and features in the future like the app being even easier to send photos directly to your friends or family within Google Photos.

Let us know what features you’ll be using the most in the comments below and if you want them to add anything new!
