Rockband Is Set to Receive New DLC


MTV Games and Harmonix have announced two new groups in the Rock Band Music Store set to hit digital shelves next week. The English pop rockers “Sweet Billy Pilgrim” and the Australian alternative rockers “The Vines” will make their Rock Band debuts on the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Joining a cast of over 400 artist with over 1,500 songs, the upcoming DLC is sure to make a wonderful addition to any Rock Band fan’s musical library. With such accomplishments as appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone and winning the 2002 ARIA for “breakthrough artist” in Australia, the Vines were more than happy to release 5 songs into the Rock Band Library:

• Get out- Melodia 2008
• He’s a Rocker- Melodia 2008
• Orange Amber- Melodia 2008
• Outtathaway- Vision Valley 2006
• Ride- Winning Days 2004

Sweet Billy Pilgrim, although not as widely known as The Vines, they too will debut in the Rock Band music collection with their hit single “Future Perfect Tense.”

This release will be called “The Vines Pack 01” and will come priced on the PlayStation 3 at $8.49 USD, £4.39 UK, and €6.55 EU, Xbox 360 at 680 Microsoft Points, and the Wii at 200 Wii points.
