Time to shine for 38 Studios with new game

Currently based out of Providence, RI (though they do have another location, Big Huge Games, in Baltimore, M.D), 38 Studios was founded by former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling in 2006. They are a company that excels in the development of a broad range of products, including online and console video games, toys, novels, comics, film, TV and other forms of digital media. The true test of the studio comes in the form of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, their first console game. There will be no middle ground for the game, which was released last Tuesday. It will either be great or flop. So far it seems to be the former


Xbox Live on your iOS device!

A free iOS app is available for your Xbox-loving self to grab in the iTunes market. There may not be as much under the hood as the Windows 7-phone counterpart--clearly because Apple is not a product of Microsoft and they won't try nearly as hard on a competition's app--but it still is better than using one of those non-official apps. EA Sports’ ‘Season Ticket’ Program Gives Fans Early Access to Upcoming Games

Fans of EA Sports' games who can't wait until release dates for their games, should get the 'Season Ticket' as soon as they can! Having it allows gamers the ability to play games in full, three days before it retails in stores. Along with having early access, 'Season Ticket' will allow gamers to receive a 20 percent discount on the content they download for their respective game


Dragon Age: Origins has gone gold

BioWare has announced that the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game have “gone gold” in North America and are currently ready for their November 3 launch date
