Announced today by Sega, Sonic is making his return as Sonic the Hedgehog 4. This game will be an episodic adventure and will be available in the summer for Wii, Xbox live arcade and Playstation network. They have released the teaser trailer which is inside.

Spyborgs, Capcom’s hottest new thrill ride will be coming exclusively for the Nintendo Wii this year. Combining an extraordinary sci-fi world with action packed 2-player co-op. If you don’t already know about the game here is a media blowout with screens and vids of the game that is soon to be released.

Super Mario Galaxy was a big hit when it was released in 2007; the game received stellar reviews from critics and fans alike, and the title sold very well on Nintendo’s most popular console. Now the big N looks to make a direct sequel to one of its most popluar games on the Wii.

The Resident Evil series has spawned many spinoff titles in recent years but one in particular stood out, and it was an on-rails shooter for the Wii entitled Umbrella Chronicles. The game allowed players a chance to play through Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3 through the eyes of the characters in the series. Now Capcom looks to build upon their spinoff with Dark Chronicles, the game will feature Resident Evil 2, and Code Veronica as the main story.

Their is no doubt when Capcom announced that it will be bringing Tatsunoko vs Capcom over to American shores the 1% that did everything they could to import it got upset for the amount of money they spent. The other 99% of fans heads were exploding of the mere thought that they will be able to enjoy another Capcom vs game with characters of the likes they’ve never heard of.

One of Nintendo’s biggest games shown at E3 was of course Red Steel 2, the game taking place in a unique fantasy setting was the interest of many at the show. Red Steel 2 promises very accurate controls compared to the original, this is due to the Wii motion plus which will be required to play the game. From the gameplay videos and demos shown the game seems like it’s shaping up rather well, with the ability to switch between sword and gun at anytime. If your like me you like the Wii and think it has the ability to be one of the greatest consoles in gaming history. If your also like me then you think that Nintendo has barely tapped into Wii’s potential. Now here we are, ignoring the console we once looked toward so eagerly. Our consoles have been collecting dust, having barely played any games since Smash Brothers or Wii Fit. Some have been considering selling their machine. Well you might want to reconsider that, because Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about the core gamers and there are several games in the big N’s lineup that might very well put the wii-mote back into your hands.
