Experiences: Soho Cigar Bar in NYC

Soho Cigar Bar in NYC is celebrating its 20th Anniversary. When you walk in it feels like you’re stepping back in time and that’s the point. It gives off a warm and welcoming environment from something of a 1920’s speakeasy. The plush leather furniture, the art and decor all give a very cool vibe. Flat screen TVs are discreetly hidden behind timeless photos of the Rat Pack and make their debut for Saturday and Sunday football viewings, birthday parties, bachelor parties, screenings and premieres.

Soho Cigar Bar is also home to the only Cigar Sommelier in NYC and the 8th in the world. Michael Dounoulis took courses at Tobacconist University to get his certification and he loves helping select cigars to enhance each guests experience, including special flights and pairings. If you’re not well versed in cigars the menu is very helpful in helping you decide on something light and sweet or strong. The bar also features rare whiskeys like Pappy Van Winkle and a food and full bar menu.  Soho Cigar Bar was recently nominated for Tobacconist of the Year by Tobacco Business Magazine.
