Converse Japan and Nintendo came together and mashed up two of the most iconic symbols over the years. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mario, Converse Japan designed a new Chuck Taylor Hi's with the 8-bit Mario pattern that comes in either white or black.

Mario has had a big presence on the Wii more so than possibly any other Nintendo console, with Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. Wii Nintendo has shown that they want the plumber to make his presence known not only to Nintendo fans but to the video game industry.

Super Mario Galaxy was a big hit when it was released in 2007; the game received stellar reviews from critics and fans alike, and the title sold very well on Nintendo's most popular console. Now the big N looks to make a direct sequel to one of its most popluar games on the Wii.
