Spellbreak has finally run out of mana

0

Game giant Blizzard is again flexing it’s wallet again with another acquisition of Proletariat, the developers of Spellbreak. Announced on June 28th, Proletariat posted the sad news of the end of the road for Spellbreak and the eventual shut down of the servers as early as 2023. The acquired development team will be working on the new up and coming Dragonflight expansion.

It’s been a good run Spellbreak, it’s sad to see you go, but we wish everyone the best.

Goodbye E3, on to the Next!

Is E3 something we really want going forward? One big, week long convention that showcases the games out on the horizon for each major company like Microsoft, Playstation, and Nintendo. I mean think about it, with everything being digital and companies like Nintendo and Playstation already holding their own announcements aside from E3, I wouldn’t mind having just individual showcases from each company. Possibly make it a weekend convention at different times of the year. Games releasing at the end of the year in California, then games releasing for the next year in New York. The absence of E3 for the past 3 years has left everyone with a want for a physical convention, hopefully next year we’ll have a real in person E3 with all the bells and whistles. Although in a Washington Post interview, ESA President and CEO Stan Pierre-Louis, expects to hold E3 next year in a virtual and in person form.  Currently, there are no official dates that have been announced for E3, and the L.A. convention center has yet to fill out any June events.  I mean don’t get me wrong, I think E3 is a great convention, but I would love to see more. I would love to see indy games get their spotlight for more than just a few minutes where they can go into detail about their company.

Do you think we need change from E3 and have more individualized conventions for each console  or would you prefer a convention like E3? What would you like to see happen to the in person convention scene or keep it all virtual?

What’s This? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 design revealed?

0

We got some info Leak curtesy of Smartprix and it looks like The Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 looks to possibly make some upgrades from the Fold 3 the dimensions now measures 155x130x7.1mm against 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.4 mm when unfolded. This makes the dimensions of the screen aspect ratio to be slightly bigger we hope. A6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch display will greet you when you unfold the phone. It will be a high refresh OLED panel that will challenge Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra maybe? We’ll look to see what more is included here as we can’t get a good view from the pics alone but hopefully better battery life, bigger outer screen, better processing and native software.
