First and foremost I wanna say sorry we haven't kept you updated about the events and where we've been. This weekend is New York Comic Con, and Remdog and I have been on the prowl around at the Jacob Javits Center covering the main event and there's SOOOO much to cover!
Netflix has been around for about fourteen or fifteen years now, and just recently has been making some extra bubbles in the hot tub of streaming entertainment. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has sent out a mass email and even made a video about what they've done and the future plans of Netflix. In brief, Hastings dropped a big bomb on everyone today stating that the Netflix subscriptions were changing again, but not in price. The movie giant will be splitting it's services to two separate entities. The streaming side will still be called Netflix, but the DVD side has been re-assigned and named Qwickster.
Nintendo held a pre-TGS (Tokyo Game Show) conference to show off what they had planned for the rest of the year and some of the things planned for next year. There was a whole lot covered at the pre-TGS conference, things like the 3DS, new hardware, and release dates to new games!
