100 Yen Currently Out!

One of the things that I miss most in America and from my childhood is the arcade scene. Japan’s arcade scene has not died, and is very much thriving, but why and how? 100 Yen is a documentary film directed and edited by Brad Crawford that captures the full essence of Japanese arcade culture and it’s history. Brad Crawford has put close to three years of his life interviewing famous gamers like Daigo Umehara and Justin Wong, also places like the Taito game station and Sega headquarters.  The film is currently available for download and purchase at 100yenfilm.com, and after watching it I really must say if you enjoy the Japanese culture and arcade life then you definitely need to see this documentary.
