Nintendo has finally announced Wii U, unfortunately the console was not on display or even played at E3 but we caught a glimpse of the controller that everyone has been talking about. A HD 6.2 inch touch screen is placed on the controller, looking more like a tablet with a camera and some buttons. The controller will also feature a gyroscope, accelerometer, Nintendo stick and button controls on either side of the screen, triggers on the back, a microphone, speakers and an inward facing camera for video chatting. The new controller will be backwards compatible with the Wiimote and also the Wii balance board. The Wii U’s controller will take gaming to a whole different level since the on-controller touch screen will give a lot more interaction with games.
