Remember back in the day? When you used to play Little League or Pee-Wee Football with your friends, and no matter how bad your team sucked, you still got a nice (plastic) gold trophy at the end of the season. Granted, the trophies were awarded as a token of completion of the season, not necessarily individual accomplishments, but at least it was something. In the world of Sports Video Games, trophies are awarded few and far between.

The Resident Evil series has spawned many spinoff titles in recent years but one in particular stood out, and it was an on-rails shooter for the Wii entitled Umbrella Chronicles. The game allowed players a chance to play through Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3 through the eyes of the characters in the series. Now Capcom looks to build upon their spinoff with Dark Chronicles, the game will feature Resident Evil 2, and Code Veronica as the main story.

Left 4 Dead 2 has become pretty infamous in the gaming world since it's announcement at E3, never before has a sequel to a game generated so much negative buzz for begin released "too early". Fans of L4D started a petition against purchasing the sequel, their argument begin that the original will be forgotten with no new content, and that most of the new features in the L4D2 could have been made available to part 1 through DLC. Well the petition which claimed to have several thousand signatures seems to have made little impact because Valve has just announced that the Left 4 Dead 2 has doubled the preorders that the original had. Keep in mind however that L4D was an original title and therefore didn't have any fanbase to build those preorders off from.
