Astroneer – early access video review: Is there life?

Astroneer is a very unique simulator as it is set in space and its main premise is to collect, build and figure out new things of what can be done as you go along. The game has some shortcomings but we think that’s primarily due to the fact that it is still in early access mode. We cover this in our early video review above but for what they have things work great and the one thing we didn’t cover in the video is the co-op aspect.

We did have the pleasure of running through that which worked very well. A friend can join your game and take up the responsibilities you have which makes things much easier to collect being you now have twice as many resources to work with. It even allows you to make multi-versions of things so you can have two seats instead of one to travel.

Check out the video for the rest of what we thought and stay tuned as we’ll be giving a very detailed review when the game is finally complete or has a substantial update worth noting. You can also check out our Lets Play series on the game as well to get an indepth view of everything going on with it.
