Red Dead Redemption OST Now Available on iTunes

Rockstar Games is happy to announce the Red Dead Redemption Original Soundtrack is available now on iTunes. Composed by acclaimed artists Bill Elm and Woody Jackson, the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack perfectly captures the haunting sound of the dying American West and Mexico at the turn of the century with a mix of authentic period instrumentation including sweeping strings, martial timpani drums and piercing horns.  As part of the eclectic band Friends of Dean Martinez, Bill Elm and Woody Jackson also composed music for the major motion picture Fast Food Nation, while Jackson’s work was featured in the recent Michael Cera film, Youth In Revolt.

This stand-alone album boasts 15 instrumental tracks as well as four exclusive tracks from notable contemporary artists Jamie Lidell, Jose Gonzalez, Chris Holmes and Brian Liesegang of Ashtar Command, as well as renowned blues vocalist William Elliot Whitmore.  Popular DJ, musician, and composer David Holmes, whose sounds can be heard in films such as Ocean’s 11, 12, 13 and Buffalo Soldiers, produced the soundtrack’s unique collection of  Western inspired songs.

The soundtrack is now available on the iTunes store in the US( Apple iTunes Store), Canada, Europe and other territories worldwide.

Also available on Amazon, Zune, eMusic and other leading digital music stores.
