Astro Gaming has been in the game for sometime now, making headsets and MixAmp solutions for pro/hardcore gamers. While their A30 line was the all purpose headset for not only gaming but to use for anything else. They plan to have the same success with their new line of earbud headphones dubbed A*STAR In-Ear Headset. How does it compare to other in-ear headsets? Does it live up to the Astro Gaming name? Astro gaming has been bringing hardcore and pro gaming quality Mix Amps for quite sometime. For those who don't know what a Mix Amp does well your in luck. A Mix Amp channels both game sounds and voice-communication into one headset while it is also the only way to listen to certain headsets via consoles. While we've been experiencing this for several years it has never been in a wireless flavor, or at least not a good one. It's hard for any game to try to reinvent the wheel, especially when its seen its fair share of games in that genre. Sometimes though when a game thinks its bringing something new, it is really bringing something old. Nail'd is an arcade ATV/MX racer with an emphasis on big jumps and speed. The game is all about throwing a bunch of stuff at you during the course and how fast you can get to the finish line. Doesn't seem like a hard thing to master? However what you get is a racer with great track ideas but spotty collision detection and some overall uninspiring execution.

The latest Mortal Kombat for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be available in April. Scorpion, Sub-Zero and the gang will be there and the game will also offer DLC. Depending on the retailer you go to, you'll get exclusive pre-order content. Mortal Kombat will have a collectors edition available as well dubbed Kollector's Edition. If you held out or missed out that Black Friday gaming deals well then you might want to bite the bullet on this one. Amazon is having deals for the PS3 and Wii consoles. Once upon a time top down racing games were what anyone knew or loved from them. However as time went on and our racing games technologically evolved, a feature called "Replays" started to exist in them. As games graphically got better, they became a way to showcase, highlight, or see crazy moments that one had during said race. So anyone would figure that something like this would never go out of style right? Well over the past couple of years replays have started disappearing from racing games and we're not entirely sure why. It would seem that on a developers side it has become a mere element from past games and is not really something they should focus on.
