A free iOS app is available for your Xbox-loving self to grab in the iTunes market. There may not be as much under the hood as the Windows 7-phone counterpart--clearly because Apple is not a product of Microsoft and they won't try nearly as hard on a competition's app--but it still is better than using one of those non-official apps. Still wondering about to go gold or not on Xbox? Well Microsoft is giving you a taste of the gold life, and giving gamers who don't already have a gold Xbox live account a test drive this weekend. Well there go your plans, and as for family, just tell them you got sick and can't share your controller and can't be around people.
E3 is almost upon us and we're getting ready for some really big announcements. In part two of our pre E3 2011 coverage we talk about Microsoft and Sony along with some other big name games coming our way. Who will take at this years show?
Microsoft has added a great addition to the Xbox Live community. XBL has added Armed Forces billing options for the soldiers and their who serve their countries. Never really being stationed in one specific state or province for long periods of time, families are always changing their addresses. Now with the option of armed forces as billing, families have one less thing to worry about when moving. Guess it's just one more way to give thanks for the people who serve.
Oh how sweet it is to be an Xbox Gold member! Come next week Crysis 2 will have an exclusive Xbox multiplayer demo out on XBLM. The demo will consist of the map called, "Skyline" a demolished New York City engulfed in the battle. Game modes will include Team Deathmatch and a type of Domination mode where players must capture and protect alien pods. The full game, due on March 22, will offer six multiplayer modes, 12 maps, and a leveling system. Time to dust off that old nano suit and put it to good use.
