For the past two years, there’s been rumors and speculation over what the next gen console will have and what it will be capable of doing. Also who will break the silence and be first to announce the next big monster that we’ll all throw our money at?
Sony reported over the weekend on Kaz Hirai’s promotional step, stating that the information that Nikkei published was possibly a few weeks to early or may be a mistake. Sony has yet to offer Kaz Hirai the presidential position, and has refrained from stating if the information that Nikkei indeed is true or false. Sony really does love to hit the pause button on some things… Well hopefully Kaz Hirai does get the promotion, gambatte kudasai(good luck) !

Vita Looking Toward a Early 2012 Release

Sony’s Kaz Hirai has confirmed that the will be no holiday release for the Vita in the US and Europe, but possibly for Japan. We all have look forward to the release of the Vita and it’s touchy goodness, but with the limited release titles available at launch it might have been a good idea to delay the system. Learning from the mistakes of the Nintendo 3DS (why does this seem so familiar? PS Move Maybe?), an early launch with a weak library of games available could possibly leave a bad taste in consumer’s mouths. There has been no change of pricing for the PS Vita, the wifi only is still priced at $249, and the 3G+wifi at $299.
Dead Island Hits (Playstation) Home
