Modern Warfare 3 has been out for over 48 hours and with no surprise there have been tons of hiccups. Even though Elite has had its paces set in place with a beta, connectivity and service of Elite has been intermittent, if at all. To make up for the problems and lack of service, Activision has decided to give members of the Elite service, and members who sign up an extra 30 days of active time for free. Might be something to look into if you’re interested, and if that’s not enough then look at what else comes with the Premium pack.

Modern Warfare 3 is going live action for their new trailer. The new trailer has got some pretty big movie stars like Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill and Dwight Howard strapping on tactical vests and moving out into the battlefield with SCAR-H rifles in hand. The trailer only makes me want to play more, and hopefully a movie deal will spawn from it. A good movie deal… not a bad one… we really don’t need any more movies like the Legend of Chun Li floating around.
Walmart is ready for it’s gamers to hit it’s stores nation wide. Not only will they be stocking up on double XP Mountain Dew, double XP Doritos, and copies of Modern Warfare 3, they’ll be holding a MW3 tournament a day before it’s release! On November 7, 8pm local time, Walmart will let the loyal gamers of MW3 to play in a tournament up to the midnight release. Walmart will also be offering up some free goodies like MW3 patches, posters and T-shirts at the midnight release, so are you ready for WW3?

The release of Modern Warfare 3 is a little over two short months away, and so far no one knows if a Prestige Edition will be available at launch. Although we do know that the Hardened Edition would be available, but no one knew what the contents would consist of, until now…
Turtle Beach Is Putting The Boom in Boomstick
Turtle Beach and Activision are coming together and putting the hurt on headsets. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be out this November and with it comes accessories. The new line of headsets offered from Turtle Beach have been dubbed “Ear Force”, and with any military squad they have different code names for different levels of performance.
Annihilation DLC Hits Again
It’s been almost a month since the Annihilation DLC for Black Ops has hit Xbox 360, which means it’s time for it’s release on PC and PS3 is due. Come July 28, the highly anticipated DLC will finally be in the hands of hardcore Blops players for PC and PS3. For $15 PC and PS3 gamers will be able to download the new DLC and finally be rid of the rants of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert England, Michael Rooker, Danny Trejo, and George Romero. I mean how many times during a zombie game can you really listen to people saying the same annoying lines? With the new zombie map we at least get Dempsey, Richtofen, Takeo, and Nikolai back. Oh also gamers get new maps to play on! Start counting the days guys/gals, because DLC is on it’s way!
Double XP Long Weekend!
It’s July 4th weekend and what’s better than spending it in front of your couch on some Call of Duty Black Ops? To celebrate our independence, Nuketown 24/7 is back! As if our little nuclear neighborhood wasn’t missed. Starting today and ending 7/5 (long weekend remember?!) Black Ops will be the place to be, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, nor PC, whichever console or system you’re on just remember… look for the double rainbow and don’t be a wiener, they tend to get lit up!
