Review: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 – Heroes unite yet again

marvel-ultimate-alliance-2

Marvel’s greatest super heroes unite for one more hoo-rah in this arcade beat em up style game. Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America and Iron Man duel it out with other Marvel elites, to help save the world from eminent doom. The game uses the Civil war story from the latest Marvel comics which helps to bring it up to date in the Marvel Comic universe. Does MUA2 pack a hulk smash or does it just fall flat?.

Acitivion recently announced that they will be bringing Band Hero to the DS and what would a new music game from Acitivision be without a new peripheral? Say hello to the Band Hero drum grip, the new piece of fake minature instrument for the DS. The “Drum Grip” will slide into the GBA slot of the DS similar to the Guitar Grip of Guitar Hero On Tour. The drum grip features four drum pads which will provide a “more realistic” feel to playing the drums on the DS, the peripheral is set to launch with Band Hero in November. The game is sure to make lots of sales however, this peripheral represents a major problem for the gaming industry.

Activision questions PS3 support

By Turk, June 21, 2009 0 Blog, News, Playstation, Playstation

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has recently said in an invertview with The Times that “I’m getting concerned about Sony; the PlayStation 3 is losing a bit of momentum and they don’t make it easy for me to support the platform. It’s expensive to develop for the console, and the Wii and the Xbox are just selling better.” Kotick later offically called for a PS3 price drop.
