Pax East 2012, Ghost Recon Future Soldier. We got our hands on some multiplayer Guerrilla mode. What else do you need me to say?

This weekend Remdog and myself were lucky to be able to get to go to Boston’s Pax East and engulf all the newest games that are out on the horizon. As usual we’ll be updating everyone throughout the next couple of weeks of what went down and all the wonderful games we played, seen, and were introduced to at Pax East. Just a few of the titles we got hands on with was Aliens Colonial Marines, Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and Borderlands 2. We also got to see game play of XCOM, Assassins Creed 3, and TONS of indie games, so if anyone was wondering how the games played, features of some of the games, or just any questions in general leave a comment and we’ll answer them when we do the write up.

Dragon Nest, the new MMO from Nexon begins it’s open beta tomorrow at 12pm Pacific time. We first got the chance to play Dragon Nest at PAX East 2011, for a description of the game just click here.

We first got a chance to play Orcs Must Die! at PAX East, and since since then, we’ve been waiting patiently for it to come out. Well we’ve waited long enough! Orcs Must Die! will be coming out this summer on XBLA and PC. Sorry Playstation 3 not this time, reason being that Robot Entertainment has teamed up with Microsoft Studios for the big release. We got the chance to sit in on the pre-alpha build of Battlefield 3 at PAX East. Many of you have probably already seen what the build looks like during the trailers that were released of the game but to see it played with my own eyes was amazing to say the least. PAX East gave us the chance to get our hands on Brink, one of Splash Damage and Bethesda Softworks’s slated titles to hit later this year. With already a couple of years of work under their belt the game looks amazing to say the least. When I first heard of free running and a FPS mixed together my mind was blown. I was excited to see how the parkour integrated FPS would look and how it would play out. When I finally saw it with my own eyes and got to play, I almost wanted to cry because it was everything I expected and more.

While at PAX East 2011 Valve treated gamers to a first look at the single player aspect of Portal 2. Everything till now has been focused on the co-op and what it entails. While it was actually not playable and video at that, it did however give us insight on what we can expect when the game drops this April.

Dragon Nest, the new free to play MMO developed by Eyedentity Games, and published by Nexon. We got a chance to play it at PAX East, and let’s just say the game plays well. Check out more after the jump.

Section 8 Prejudice is a sci-fi based first person shooter developed by TimeGate Studios. Somehow TimeGate came up with the idea of mixing it in with a tower defense aspect, with a bunch of vehicles, guns, and alien armor. What did TimeGate end up with? A great looking game!
