Game play feels very tight, crouch to auto activate camouflage and press A to duck into cover. Firing is pretty straight forward, hold to go full auto or tap to semi-fire, of course tapping would be best because close quarters combat tends to get you into trouble. Instead of kill streaks in Guerilla mode, players are given Wave Streaks. Survive a few waves without dying and you’ll be given certain perks, like UAV drone, or camouflage for 30 seconds. If you aren’t able to survive and die in a wave, don’t worry it’s not game over yet. If you die you come back as a UAV Drone. You get to hover around the battlefield marking your targets for your teammates. This is one game to be sure to look out for next month. Ghost Recon Future Soldier is set to release on May 22 on Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3.

The new installment to the Assassin’s Creed series takes place from 1753 to 1783, which is when, you history buffs would know, the Treaty of Paris was signed and the war ended. The new installment of the game brings with it a new character in Ratohnkhaké:ton (pronounced: Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon), or Connor. Ubisoft’s website says, “Assassin’s Creed® III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you’ve read about in history books.”

Connor (that’s what we’ll refer to him as, for the simplicity of this post), is part Native American, growing up with the Mohawk tribe, which has its roots in New York. As history tells it, the Mohawk were siding with the Britis

If you like the whole open world aspect of Assassin’s Creed, you’ll be pleased to find out that the playable area in ACIII is larger than that of AC: Brotherhood. According to Kotaku, the “frontier,” as they call it, is 1.5 times the size of the map from AC: Brotherhood and will span between Boston and New York.

If you’re a big Assassin’s Creed fan or a collector of pre-order bonuses, head on down to GameStop, Best Buy or order from Amazon for your pre-order. All three are giving away a collector’s steelbook case with pre-orders. The case, featuring art by comic artist Alex Ross, is available for a limited time, so go get your hands on it while you can.

Sega announced today that Jet Set Radio or Jet Grind Radio, will be hitting XBLA and PSN soonish. The news came was released on Sega’s YouTube Channel. No firm release date has been announced yet, but sure enough it shouldn’t be long till we start downloading it.

Ken Rolston served as the lead designer for the game, a man who has worked on other greats such as Elder Scrolls III: Morrowmind and Elder Scrolls IV:  Oblivion. He, along with author R. A. Salvatore and Spawn creator Todd McFarlane worked together to create the game. With that in mind, one can only imagine the style of gameplay this game will have. Be mindful, however, that these are only some of the reviews available out there. Don’t take these for granted as it seems the game is well worth the time and effort to play. It even scored an 80 on Metacritic, which combines and averages review scores from various sources. Read more reviews and read user reviews to get a feel for the game. Go on and play the demo if you must, just remember, all games are innocent until proven guilty.
