On Xbox Live that is… and only available to Elite members. The new content will include two new maps Liberation and Piazza. Liberation takes place in Central Park, New York where snipers will tag you over and over again. Piazza takes place in Italy in a small seaside village, where close quarters combat will fill the streets with corpses to teabag.  Non Elite members and other MW3 console gamers can expect the DLC to release at a later date. Well what are you waiting for? Get fragging noob!

Not much has been spoken about GRFS other than the original release window of March 2012. It kinda makes me feel like the game is part of Fight Club, we just don’t talk about it… What there is to know is that the game modes are complete but needs to be polished. The beta that was promised to hit this month will be pushed back, and the game will not release in March but two months later in May for consoles, and a bit later for PC players. With the track record of Ghost Recon games, hopefully this will ignite a spark that will balance the battlefields of FPS shooters.

Sony has yet to offer Kaz Hirai the presidential position, and has refrained from stating if the information that Nikkei indeed is true or false.  Sony really does love to hit the pause button on some things… Well hopefully Kaz Hirai does get the promotion, gambatte kudasai(good luck) !

If you don’t know who Kaz Hirai is, just keep reading below for a mini biography on him.

Born on December 22, 1960 in Tokyo, Japan, the son of a wealthy banker, Kaz Hirai traveled the world. Graduating with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts from International Christian University in 1984, and finding a job with CBS/Sony Inc. in Japan where he worked hard over the years to become the head of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s international business affairs office in New York. In 1995, Hirai transferred over to to Sony’s Computer and Video Game division. Since being a part of the division, Hirai watched over the growth of the Playstation franchise to what it is today.

Kuro and Toro will be playable characters exclusively for the Playstation 3 and Vita version of the Street Fighter X Tekken. From the looks of it Toro seems to be taking some fighting tips from Ryu and the Capcom family, and Kuro taking tips from Jin and the Tekken family, both sporting similar costumes as their teachers. I can’t wait till Street Fighter X Tekken comes out so I can give someone a MEOWYUKEN!

Sony has bundled together a 160 GB system and a copy of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2.” The bundle includes the 3D and regular versions of the movie on a blu-ray. In addition to that movie, those who purchase the system should be happy to note it also include download vouchers for the first and second movies in the series, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

As everyone knows, Black Friday is slowly creeping in as the holidays near. Everyone wants the best deal for their gaming needs, but usually don’t know where to go. With this comprehensive list, shopping should feel a little bit easier. One suggestion I would give is to write down exactly what you want so that you can go to these stores, grab what you need, and head out quickly.

Now, these deals are all from leaks, but cannot be confirmed until the day the legitimate releases are out. Therefore, any information we post for the time being will from an outside source unless otherwise noticed. The lists will be in order by item because doing single posts by one store will complicate things when trying to compare prices. Even though Elite has had its paces set in place with a beta, connectivity and service of Elite has been intermittent, if at all. To make up for the problems and lack of service, Activision has decided to give members of the Elite service,  and members who sign up an extra 30 days of active time for free. Might be something to look into if you’re interested, and if that’s not enough then look at what else comes with the Premium pack.

Not only will they be stocking up on double XP Mountain Dew, double XP Doritos, and copies of Modern Warfare 3, they’ll be holding a MW3 tournament a day before it’s release! On November 7, 8pm local time, select Walmart stores will let the loyal gamers of MW3 to play in a tournament up to the midnight release. Walmart will also be offering up some free goodies like MW3 patches, posters and T-shirts at the midnight release, so are you ready for WW3?

I got a chance to play the game at New York Comic Con the past weekend and I was pretty stunned at how well the game played. The art direction pretty much keeps the Street Fighter 4 style between both Tekken and Street Fighter characters, and it bodes very well with the Tekken characters surprisingly. The game will introduce a new Gem system, which will give players different attributes and give players a different way to mix things up. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to test out the Gem system, but at least we know the system will add a lot of extended game play. The fighters from Tekken may take a little getting used to because of the six button layout, but more or less the buttons are similar. Also the hit boxes felt a little tighter, so playing as King, Zangief, Hugo, or any short reaching characters will be a little difficult since the player will most likely be required get in really close. Keep your eyes peeled for the special edition that will be coming out with the game March 6, 2012!
