As usual we’ll be updating everyone throughout the next couple of weeks of what went down and all the wonderful games we played, seen, and were introduced to at Pax East. Just a few of the titles we got hands on with was Aliens Colonial Marines, Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and Borderlands 2.  We also got to see game play of XCOM, Assassins Creed 3, Hitman Absolution, and TONS of indie games,  so if anyone was wondering how the games played, features of some of the games, or just any questions in general leave a comment and we’ll answer them when we do the write up. If I didn’t mention any of the game titles that you’re interested in, post a comment of which game you do want news on and if it was at Pax East and we played/saw it, I’ll be sure to answer as much as I can.

Come next year Square Enix plans on releasing Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, or 3D for short. Kingdom Hearts 3D will be a prelude to the final conflict where Sora and Riku enter the “Sleeping Worlds” to become Keyblade Masters. New worlds will also be playable, such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Tron Legacy. This is probably one game that I will be picking up next year among the many other games that are coming out.

PETA finds that although imagery of Mario wearing a tanooki suit gives the impression that it’s ok to wear an animal’s fur.

Tanukis are real-life raccoon dogs who are beaten and, as PETA’s undercover exposés show, often skinned alive for their fur,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “This winter, everyone can give raccoon dogs and other fabulous animals a 1-UP by keeping our wardrobes fur-free.

As everyone knows, Black Friday is slowly creeping in as the holidays near. Everyone wants the best deal for their gaming needs, but usually don’t know where to go. With this comprehensive list, shopping should feel a little bit easier. One suggestion I would give is to write down exactly what you want so that you can go to these stores, grab what you need, and head out quickly.

Now, these deals are all from leaks, but cannot be confirmed until the day the legitimate releases are out. Therefore, any information we post for the time being will from an outside source unless otherwise noticed. The lists will be in order by item because doing single posts by one store will complicate things when trying to compare prices. Not every single specific item will be posted, but big-name items will. The deals will mostly be in order by best deal, but with all the information to put out, that can’t be promised as of yet.

This weekend is New York Comic Con, and Remdog and I have been on the prowl around at the Jacob Javits Center covering the main event. In the on coming week we’ll be updating you all with the new games that we encountered, games like Street Fighter X Tekken, Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City, Max Payne 3, and some others. We’ll be also updating with some of the cosplayers of NYCC, and some other goodies, so keep checking back in the on coming week maybe even two weeks of what NYCC had to offer this year. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has sent out a mass email and even made a video about what they’ve done and the future plans of Netflix. In brief, Hastings dropped a big bomb on everyone today stating that the Netflix subscriptions were changing again, but not in price. The movie giant will be splitting it’s services to two separate entities. The streaming side will still be called Netflix, but the DVD side has been re-assigned and named Qwickster.

Qwickster will launch in the on coming weeks and will offer everything from movies to eventually games. Gamefly eat your heart out! Qwickster seems as though it will be trying to cover it’s bases is disc entertainment. Hastings noted that Qwickster will very much still be like Netflix but just called something else. One big thing that I myself have been bugged about is that if Qwickster is an entirely new service that means I’ll need to subscribe to Qwickster and Netflix to get my movie fix. There was a whole lot covered at the pre-TGS conference so let’s get started. First and foremost on the list is the secondary analogue nub adapter apparatus docking bay, or attachment for short. The analogue attachment will cost $20 and will require one AAA battery to power the nub. The add on will hit Japan first come December 10, and will support the the following games: Monster Hunter Tri G, Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble, Dynasty Warriors VS, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Another announcement was a new color of the Nintendo 3DS. Most likely aimed toward the feminine crowd, the “misty” pink 3DS will most likely be bedazzled will Hello Kitties and other princess-esque ornaments. Expect to see this hot item on October 20 in Japan. Some other news to look forward to for the 3DS will be in November when a system update will bolster 3DS 3D video recording and updates to StreetPass and Mii Plaza.

Nintendo also let the cat out of the bag on some release dates for some big games. First one up for DSiWare will be Zelda: Four Swords. Four Swords will be available for download starting September 28 and will be available till February 20, 2012 for the price of FREE! Other 3DS games on the horizon will be Super Mario 3D Land due out November 13, Fossil Fighters on November 14, Super Mario Kart 7 out December 4, and Fortune Street on December 5. These will be all great games for 2011, unfortunately not appearing this year will be Kid Icarus: Uprising. The publishers deemed it too early for the game to be released since more work needed to be done to perfect the game. To help dull the senses to the late release, Nintendo announced that they’ve teamed up with an anime studio to develop a 3D Kid Icarus anime that will be available to download on Nintendo’s Video service on the 3DS for free. Also being developed for next year will be Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, and Luigi’s Mansion. Hopefully all the information wasn’t too much, but at least you have a few dates to mark down on your calenders.

If you were, then you’re in luck because, whether you knew it or not, you are getting free games! Yes, free. After Nintendo failed to sell enough 3DS systems to their liking, they dropped the price $80 from $249.99 to $169.99 on August 12 (some stores such as Walmart cut prices early on August 9 allowing customers to connect to the eShop and receive the dropped price). Though difficult, some stores price matched the lower Walmart price and others decided to price adjust afterwards.

The Ambassador program allows 3DS owners, who fulfilled the guidelines, to receive 20 free games (available in two separate installments). The 10 included games are: The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Donkey Kong Jr., Yoshi, Wrecking Crew, Ice Climber, Balloon Fight, NES Open Tournament Golf.
It seems there is some confusion as to how the games are downloaded. There are step-by-step instructions on how to download the games here.
