No this isn’t a practical joke, looks like ever running cartoon series town itself is now an actual place. By actual place we mean it was solely created as a tourist attraction for fans and anyone else alike. The Springfield expansion at Universal Studios Florida had been quietly in the works since November of 2012 and is now in time for a full release in the summer. People will be able to walk the town of Springfield like never before with areas like Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, Luigi’s, Lisa’s Teahouse of Horror, Cletus’ Chicken Shack and much more. Check out some of the pics of the park below and if you were looking for a reason to go to Universal, you may have just found it.
