EA Parks NASCAR Franchise. For Now or For Good?
For the first time in over a decade, EA Sports will NOT be releasing a NASCAR game this year. According to EA Sports President Peter Moore, both sides agreed that there was no need for an annal release of the NASCAR series. NASCAR had also talked about not giving exclusive rights to EA after their contract expired.

After the critically acclaimed Street Fighter 4 was released early this year, one can only wonder what Capcom’s plans were for the next iteration. Well look no further, Capcom has just announced that they will be releasing Super Street Fighter IV.

Live Dead Space Extraction Demo and Developer Commentary Sept 29
With the release of the highly-anticipated prequel, Dead Space Extraction, hitting store shelves Tomorrow. The developers, Visceral Games will host a live webcast for fans in honor of launch on September 29th at 12p.m. PST. The one-hour webcast will feature demonstrations of the exciting gameplay of Dead Space Extraction. Fans will also be invited to participate in a Q&A session with the Visceral team.

The development of the successor to Gears of War 2 would be awesome to hear at TGS ’09. However, Epic made a valid point how to work on the sequel on this generation of consoles would be best on the next generation console …
TGS ’09: Playstation Motion Control Coming Spring 2010
Sony announced at the Tokyo Game Show that the Playstation Motion Controller is on track for a spring 2010 release, not only did Sony give a presentation of their new peripheral but they also announced several titles in development, granted the titles are vague and almost nothing is known about them.

Scribblenauts is quite possibly one of the most unique games to be released this year, the game is simple yet it’s scope is beyond any other game before. Overall the game actually delivers on its ambitious promise but there are a few aspects that need to be improved for this title to become a true classic.
